OUT WEST.

We are back in the Seattle and it is great! We are doing all the things we used to do and trying some new ones. Tour resumes this week. We will be heading down the West Coast and then out East. Check the dates on our tour page. New record is done! so we will be releasing some new music real soon an performing some songs on this tour.

Back from tour/vacation

Touring America again

we have been out for the past week playing festivals and shows. thanks to everybody who came out and to all the new friends we have met! We Play in Indianapolis tonight 7/3/10 @Volrath.  Things are going great out here. A bunch of shows surrounding a national are in the works real soon.

Releasing our “Lights On” E.P. digitally.

We will finally release this on I tunes. Previously we had only sold this E.P. at a  few  shows.  It will contain 6 new songs mixed and recorded in  2008 in two different  Seattle studios. Engineered and Mixed  by Producer Brian m. Brown. It should be out in a week or so.

“Caroline” demo on KEXP yesterday

We heard that a new song of ours “Caroline” was played by John in The Morning on KEXP yesterday! How he got a hold of it? I don’t know. Keep your ears open for new stuff!  We’ve tracked 21 songs so far. Keep checking in to hear more! In other news there are rumours of a tour in early June out to some festivals and clubs shows. Sounds like fun! We will keep you posted. Here is is the” Caroline” demo in case you missed it!

“Caroline”

Hello from the woods!

After a long tour supporting the release of Souvenir, we decided to take a break for a while and record another record! We headed straight for the woods and locked ourselves in a log cabin for the winter. With the quiet of the  falling snow and a wood stove warming our bones, we embarked on the journey of writing, recording, and mixing a new record entirely ourselves.  It’s been a beautiful and challenging experience. We’re really excited about all of our new material. We will be sharing some songs with you soon!

It’s been awhile since we’ve posted on the site, so I’d like to take an opportunity here to put up a few news items at once. For one thing, the video for Magic has been picked up by MTVU and is currently in rotation. Make sure to put in a request or two.

Also, I have yet to put up our contribution to uber-photographer Chase Jarvis’ Songs for Eating and Drinking musical shindig, which took place at the historic Sorrento Hotel in Seattle. Here it is:

Also, our likenesses appear in Chase’s new book, The Best Camera Is the One that’s With You, which features accomplished and handsome photos taken with an iPhone.

I also wanted to make quick mention of that fact that our songs have appeared in both 90210 and Jersey Shore in the past month.
